JAVA/JEE Developer

For our banking client in Zürich we are currently looking for a JAVA/J2EE Dev:

START: ASAP

DURATION: 6 months

LOCATION: Luzern

Project:

Additional requests from EWT (European Witholding Tax) and FATCA and for TaxPortal, TaxOrder and TaxOut applications need to be implemented for 2014 and 2015.

Responsibilities:

- Analyze business requirements with workshops, interviews, discussions etc.
- Document requirements with features list, diagrams, business rules, prototypes etc.
- Create solution proposals and estimations together with the software engineers
- Manages changes to requirements and ensures traceability
- Perform pre testing to ensure application stability and maturity for integration testing
- Analyze defects from testing cycles and track bug fixing.
- Support production issues with problem analysis and professional incident communication
- understand the technical setup of the applications
- analyze business problems in the DB with SQL queries

Must Skills:

- Experience in business analysis and IT requirements engineering with good knowledge of processes and documentations
- Solid understanding of UML, XML, Web-Services, data modelling, SQL, MQ/JMS
- Experience in Web UI/Java applications development projects (as an engineer or analyst)
- Good PowerPoint, excel, word and presentations skills
- Experience with agile methodologies (scrum/iterative, JIRA, stories)
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Effective and solution oriented
