JAVA/J2EE/Websphere Application Developer

You will be part of the maintenance team, building on framework package through the development kit of the application.

You will handle larger and smaller changes that originate from maintenance and/or projects within the payments program, or from other programs.

Besides that, you will build and customize on overall and detail level in consultation with project managers, business analysts and technical architects.

Participation in a standby schedule is also part of this role (3rd line support).

Being an experienced JAVA/J2EE/WebSphere Application Developer, you will have a solid track record in Java/J2EE (Hibernate, Ant/Maven), WebSphere Application Server, webservices, Oracle DBMS (10 or 11) and application maintenance and support

Requirements:
 At least a bachelor degree in IT
 Extensive and proven experience JAVA/J2EE/WAS application maintenance and support
 Solid experience with MQ and WebSphere Process Server (or BPEL)
 Experience with working in the financial sector
 Banking sector/payments and SEPA domain knowledge
 Experience in working with large (international) companies and associated complexity
 Practical knowledge and experience with the impact of technology on business processes and organization
 Can-do mentality with problem solving and analytical skills
 Excellent knowledge of the Dutch and English language
 Pro-active work attitude
 A keen interest in how technology can be applied to solve business problems of clients and the will to implement these solutions for our clients
