Java/J2EE Tester

We are looking for a experienced JAVA TESTERS to work with our team based in Brussels. You will be joining our team supporting DG IT within the European commission, who work to ensure that the technology supporting the various parts of the commission is up to date, efficient and ensures that the public institutions across Europe can work together seamlessly.

Typical tasks will include

- Liaising with the development team to plan testing and provide feedback
- Ensuring modules are reusable and well documented
- Implementing a Selenium based testing program
- Running, reporting and communicating the results of tests
- Validating and providing guidance on the improvement of the development cycle

We are looking for the following experience

- 7+ years experience with Java based applications
- 3+ years experience testing Java applications
- Proficient with Selenium
- Experience developing Java applications
- 3+ years experience with Oracle Databases
- Fluent in English, French would be considered a bonus

Successful applicants will be required to attend an in person interview in Brussels before the position can be offered. Candidates must also hold EU nationalits or a valid work permit for Belgium.

The position is offered as a long term freelance contract, with attractive rates.
