Our Client is looking for a Project Manager/Architect with Java, J2EE, UML, OOAD for a 2 month Project based in Paris, France.

The Client:

A large scale consultancy.

The Role:

Responsible for management and execution of all projects.
Single point of contact for Client and offshore delivery teams.
Coordinate with Client Managers, Architects and Solution Designers to create work package definition and acceptance criteria and SOW creation (timelines and estimate).
Periodic status reporting to Client Manager on SOW implementation status.
Delivery updates to Program Manager.
Work with Client IS project Managers and Business to initiate integration projects.
Manage workload of one or more integration architects.
Balance project load against steady team of development resources.
Own up project plans.

Skills Required:

Performance Optimization and Tuning.
Should be aware of best practices for optimizing SQL Server Stored procedures.
Java.
J2EE.
Be able to architect a solution in this technology area for a given problem statement.
Be able to design and architect solution around J2EE.
Be well versed with stacking and layering of architecture modelling.
Be conversant with decision making in terms of technology comparison with J2EE technologies.
Should be able to understand customer business requirements and propose optimal solutions around J2EE technologies focusing on simplifications, virtualization, aggregation and automation.
OOAD and Design Patterns OOAD + Design Pattern.
Has used at least 2 patterns from each of the Creational, Structural and Behavioural category in real life project successfully.
Able to apply design patterns (and combinations of these)straight away to problem solutions of fair complexity, and able to explain the reason of choosing one pattern over the other.
Has mentored at least about 20unique architects/engineers on OOAD and Design patterns basics.
Able to analyse UML diagrams/information and readily and intuitively mine out Embedded design patterns, ability to comment on non trivial architectures and design in a relevant domain.
Familiarity with design pattern tools wherever applicable.
Has mentored at least 20 unique architects/engineers on Design patterns basics.
Able to analyse UML diagrams/information and readily and intuitively mine out Embedded design patterns.
Familiarity with design pattern tools wherever applicable.
Is aware of how to write patterns and submit patterns to international bodies.
