Java/J2EE Engineer

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a JAVA/J2EE ENGINEER to join our client in Scottsdale, AZ.

JOB OVERVIEW:

This position will be a J2EE Java Developer for WebSphere 7.0 and 8.0 SOA ESB Software Suite for DoD and VA iEHR. The successful candidate must have hands on and direct experience with IBM WebSphere Software components including WSRR, WODM, WBM, WPS, Message Broker and Message Queue at a minimum of three to five (3-5) years. There should be an ability to program orchestration, transformation, mediation and other business rules into the SOA ESB is a requirement.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- WebPortal and WebSphere J2EE infrastructure software development and interface simulation development required to model systems, interfaces and message communication broker components within a development and test lab for a large nationwide SOA Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) implementation for the DoD and VA based
- Software development involving transactional enterprise Beans, message-driven Beans, Servlets, JavaServer PagesTM (JSPTM) files, Java database connectivity (JDBCTM) and Java Message Service (JMS) and will document code and artifacts required to meet customer deliverable requirements documentation.
- Participate in agile software and system engineering development incremental deliveries and work with the overall system and software engineering teams in all phases of the requirements, design and code and test reviews of the SOA Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) IBM WebSphere SOA Suite and Mirth ETL HL7 messaging exchange architecture implementation program for the VA and DoD.
- Regularly interface with System Integration and System Engineering team members to help plan infrastructure insertion planning discussions, technical engineering analysis, reports, recommendations and solutions in a complex system of systems environment.
- Interact with multiple functional areas including Systems Engineering, Test Engineering, and Software Configuration Management.
- Participate in software requirements analysis, detailed design, coding, and unit test.
- Support quality peer reviews, such as code reviews and test readiness reviews.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- B.S. in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technology degree
- Experience in multiple Application Server platforms including IBM WebSphere, Oracle Weblogic, Oracle AS, Glassfish and JBoss is required as well as knowledge and understanding in IBM Message Broker Tool, Message Queue (MQ) and Mirth software technology stacks.
- Five to eight (5-8) years of hands on Java development experience in clinical information systems development, interfaces and integration efforts.
- Five (5) or more years experience with Unix and Windows Operating System complex installations of third party software including VMWare, VSphere, IBM WebSphere, Oracle 10g/11g, Open Source Java based tools, integrated development environments and software.
- Experience installing, configuring and managing enterprise wide Clinical Information Systems and Healthcare Information Exchange messaging systems such as iXP, eGate, SeeBeyond, Vitria, Oacis or Mirth for HL7/X12/XML Interface Message Broker, routing and translation software components within the Enterprise Service Bus framework.
- Previous Java software development experience in Hibernate, Spring and Model View Controller design frameworks in a in a large, multi-agency or multi-division mission critical production environment
- Ability to load test and prepare and populate data automatically for high volume message traffic simulation and capacity testing.
- JSR 168, JSR 268 web portal standards knowledge and in practice use for portlets and adaptation of other third-party COTS products into a Portal based architecture.
