Java/J2EE Developer (3073)

For a project at our banking client's site we are looking for an experienced

JAVA/J2EE DEVELOPER (3073)

For the development of a new software based on Unix/Linux, we are looking for an experienced developer with about 4-5 years of development experience in JAVA/J2EE.
The ideal candidate is someone who has a good track record of hands-on experience in writing Unix/Linux scripts.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Excellent knowledge of SQL and Oracle PL/SQL
- Very good understanding of Unix, Linux based Operating System
- Experience in Software Development Life Cycle involving analysis, development and testing
- Should have hands-on experience (Development, Unit/System Testing) in UNIX-based projects
- Knowledge in Configuration Management and development tools such as SVN, eclipse, Toad, Tectia
- Candidate needs to be an excellent team player and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Very good English skills for collaboration with vendor, German would be a plus

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

- Relevant industry experience of JMS, Hibernate, Spring
- Experience in development with WebLogic
- Knowledge on Java/J2EE build and deployment Scripting using ANT, Maven
- Knowledge in collateral management space, securities lending or OTC derivatives
- Sound testing and quality management skills
