Java J2EE Developer

Java J2EE Developer wanted within an international bank based in Zurich.

YOUR TASKS:

- Collaborating with the team on the agreement of high level design and architecture of a complex application
- Designing and implementing of components using Java, Oracle and leading edge technologies
- Developing and designing the data service layer for risk and finance IT
- Using cutting edge technologies such as Hadoop, Vertica and other big data solutions

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- Significant design/architecture/delivery experience of Java development for high volume enterprise systems
- Proficiency in J2EE, multi-tier architecture, Spring and Oracle
- Exposure to caching, aggregation and map-reduce technologies
- Good understanding of OO design principles
- Knowledge in Agile/Scrum, Vertical/Hadoop/Pivotal/Cloudera big data platform is desirable
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German would be a big plus
