Java/J2EE Developer

Resource 1 is in need of a Sr. Java Developer for Oak Brook, IL. 

Because of the long-term need, client would consider either a contract with extensions or a contract-for-hire.  This position is a primarily new development (full life cycle) with some maintenance/enhancements.  Individual should have at least 5 years of experience developing web-based applications using Java/J2EE technologies.  Additionally, individual should have experience working with EJB (Enterprise Java Beans) version 3.0 or higher.  The project will involve both publishing and consuming RESTful web services using Jersey, so relevant experience is highly preferred.  Some experience with SQL (stored procedures/queries) is also preferred.  Individual will get involved in some Front End (User Interface) development using Java Server Faces (JSF).  Selected individual will interface with company staff at various levels of the organization, so solid written and verbal communication skills are essential.
