JAVA/J2EE Developer

A premier government department seeks candidates(10 positions) with JAVA J2EE developer experience to be part of their multi-disciplined team dedicated to the enhancement and support of critical business systems. You will be required to work closely with your project team in the scoping, estimating and development of enhancements/new capability. You will be required to manage your daily work output to meet the project deliverables.

The team uses an agile development methodology which predicates daily interaction with key business and technical representatives.

Position Requirements

1.   2 years experience with Web Centre Portal11g development using ADF, Java/J2EE development, Web based application development using AJAX, JQuery, CSS, JSF and HTML 4/5.

2.   A demonstrated ability to engage with requesting business areas and project stakeholders.

3.   Ability to discuss technical issues/solutions with both technical and non-technical staff;

4.   Work closely with technical staff to facilitate system development;

5.   A working knowledge of, and recent experience using, an agile development methodology

Australian Citizenship and Baseline Security Clearance is desirable.
