Java/J2EE Developer

Resource 1 is in need of a Java/Web Developer for a 6 month contract in Downers Grove, IL. This position is a primarily new development (full life cycle) with some maintenance/enhancements. Individual should have at least 5 years of experience developing web-based applications using Java/J2EE technologies, such as Servlets, Java Server Pages (JSP), JMS and Java Server Faces (JSF). Currently using BEA WebLogic, but experience with any web Application Server will be acceptable. Some experience with SQL (stored procedures/queries) is preferred, but not required. Individual should have exposure to relational database like DB2, Oracle or SQL Server. Individual should also have at least some experience with Web/UI development (HTML, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript, XML). Selected individual will interface with company staff at various levels of the organization, so solid written and verbal communication skills are essential.
