JAVA/J2EE Architect

URGENT requirement for a Java Architect to come and work a yearlong contract for one of the biggest organisations in Amsterdam. You will be working with the latest tech and be in ownership of the technical design of cross- functional, multi-platform application systems.

You will be working with business partners, architects and other groups to identify technical and functional needs of systems and determine priority of needs. You will be ensuring adherence to defined development life cycle, good software design practices, and architecture strategy and intent. In addition to this you will also be analysing and defining the document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment.

You will be responsible for key system design and integration decisions; and for communicating decisions to individuals implementing the system. You will also be guiding the product team and help them in finding/validating the correct architecture solutions to help streamline the development activities and guard the processes/development guidelines.

Key skills needed for this position:

- Extensive experience with Java/J2EE background, API/SOA services designing, solutions and standards.
- Experience being involved in API Architecture & Design, including selection of technologies and setting technical directions.
- Good Knowledge of UML designing (preferably archimate).
- Good knowledge of software design patterns.
- Thorough understanding of Services Oriented Architecture (SOA).
- Good knowledge of cloud services.
- Deep understanding of micro services, Nano services.
- Knowledge of Security concepts and implementation in the Enterprise applications.
- Strong knowledge of Web-Services.
- Experience and knowledge of Agile methodology.
- Involved in proposals and the solution approved by lead architect.
