Java/IOS Developer

- Previous experience with HTML5/CSS/JS (Backbone/JQuery/JQueryMobile/Phonegag)
- Development experience with iOS development
- Design and implementation of REST services
- A proven track record and capability to work closely with business users in a team-oriented environment.
- Have experience of managing 3rd party Applications related service providers
- Have experience in providing Applications support services in accordance with agreed SLAs.
- Have 7 or more years of Java experience in an IT environment.  Financial services experience is desirable.
- Design, Development and Unit-Test of Java applications
- Creation of functional and technical specifications in line with business requirements
- Deliver technical solutions for mission critical systems primarily in Java on a J2EE platform
- Development of Java scripts
- Integration in an Apache/Jboss/Oracle DB/MySQL DB/environment
- Development of JMS message queue solutions
- Provision of support services in accordance with agreed SLAs
- Monitor and investigate systems issues
- Support releases in accordance with development life cycle
- Identify and proactively communicate problems and recommend solutions
- Co-ordinate with system administrators during implementations
