Java / HTML Developer - DV Cleared

We currently have a requirement for a Java / HTML Developer to work on an exciting new 4 month contract with our leading client. The role is based in the area of Gloucestershire. Applicants are required to hold a current DV clearance or higher.

Role Description

The role holder will operate as technical lead for one side of an experiment. Gather requirements, evaluate existing systems for best fit. Agree with customer to customise existing or develop new software. Develop code to provide data storage services and basic HTML views.

Skills & Experience

Essential

* Java Software Engineering
* J2EE
* Web Services (ideally RESTful, Jboss Resteasy particularly useful)
* HTML GUI development

Desirable

* JPA / Hibernate
* Jboss Application Server
* Maven
