Java GUI Developer 6 Months++ Contract- 700 CHF Per Day

JAVA GUI DEVELOPER

GOOD COMMUNICATION SKILLS IN ENGLISH AND/OR GERMAN (SPOKEN AND WRITTEN) (FLUENT IN EITHER LANGUAGE WILL DO, NOT A MANDATORY TO BILINGUAL)

ROLE:

An interesting role with the possibility to analyse requirements specification, plan and design solutions (GUI, including interfaces to other applications)
Support project estimates and provide planning input regarding solution engineering and software development
Ensure adherence to application and technology related architectural standards and development policies
Development of Java GUI and business logic components
Prepare and execute unit and system tests including technical documentation of all delivered artifacts
Analysis and fixing of defects and test environment issues

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:

University degree or similar education in information technology or information management
Excellent software engineer knowledge (> 5 years) in GUI development and business logic components
Recent hands-on experience in Java 7.0/8.0, JUnit 4.x, EJB 3.x, JMS 2.x, JPA 2.x, Spring/CDI, Spring Batch, Oracle DB 11g (SQL and PL/SQL), DB2, SOAP-WS, XML, JSF 2.0 and JavaScript, Angular 6, Web-Services and Weblogic
Nice to have: Knowledge of REST, HTML5, AngularJS, Bootstrap 4.x, JSON, Selenium, JEE 7, Spring Boot, IBM JLog Rules, MQ Series
Tools: Eclipse IDE, Maven, SVN, JIRA, SoapUI, PL/SQL Developer or the like
Knowledge of securities, single accounts, bookkeeping would be an asset
Well structured and analytical thinking personality
Good communication skills in English and/or German (spoken and written)
