Java/GIS Developer (Openlayers) (Air Traffic Management, Brussels)

I am looking for a full time Java/GIS Developer (OpenLayers) for an ATM Client in Brussels.

Main responsibilities:

- Design, develop and maintenance of the HMI and Portal applications,
- Prototyping of new architecture
- Development and maintenance of unit tests for the map components,
- On-call support for about 3-4 weeks a year during the application migration,

In order to be successful the candidate must have the following:

- Experience in Object Oriented Analysis, design and programming,
- Extensive Java knowledge,
- Experience in design and development of optimised Java code, performance tuning, multithreaded applications and memory management,
- Good knowledge and practical experience with OpenLayers and/or LuciadMap,
- Experience in Application Server BEA Weblogic or similar,
- Experience with open source tools based on Java, Web 2.0 technologies and IDE like Eclipse,
- Experience with code generation,
- Experience in the mission critical application development,
- Experience in unit testing,
- Very good mathematical skills.
