Java Full Stack Software Developer

A senior level, Java full stack software developer needed to work across a number of projects providing Front End, Back End software development and modifying and integrating algorithms, Python and Android mobile.

Some applications are developed in Android. Android experience is preferred but not necessary as the customer is willing to train if you are able to pick-up and apply new skills quickly.

You will need competent Python development skills and a strong mathematical background and knowledge of algorithm development. The project will be delivered across large scale Hadoop clusters and therefore knowledge of cloud platforms, ideally AWS, is also required.

Projects are delivered in an Agile/Scrum methodology, so experience of working within these environments is highly preferred along with excellent unit and systems testing skills, version control, ideally git/github and continuous integration and tools exposure.

This is a 12 month assignment, very likely to extend, with an R&D division of well-respected organisation creating leading-edge, innovative big data/IoT software applications for a wide range of products.
