Java / Flex Tech Lead - Risk System - NYC Bank - 160k

The Risk IT team at a major investment bank in New York City is looking for a hands-on experienced Flex developer to work on Global Risk Projects. The person will lead a team of developers working on the Risk Data Platform. The role entails delivering to market and credit risk requirements. In addition, the person will be part of the architecturel team and will responsible for providing solutions, guidance and design validation on Flex related areas.

3 Key Objectives critical to success of the role:

Translate requirements from business stakeholders into IT deliveries.

Ensure design is documented and transitioned to the implementation team.

Ensure stability and performance of the system.

Skills & Experience Required:

* Strong Adobe Flex architecture and development experience with hands on capability.
* 5-8 years IT experience of which the last 5+ years with Adobe Flex.
* 4+ years experience work experience in the Financial Services domain.
* Good experience with Java
* Database skills. Experience of full project lifecycle (requirements, design, development, tesing, deployment, version control)
* Strong communication skills (both written and verbal). Must work well with a multidiscipline team.
