Java / Flex Developer for Dallas Bank - Full Time - 110k

A major investment bank in Dallas is looking for a java developer who has experience with flex to join their mortgage IT team building a top of the line web calculator for their global users. The site is comprised of a set of surveillance, market monitor, research and analytic tools. This group has a diverse client base comprised of traders, modelers, strategies, researchers, sales and external clients. The bank's clients use our software to analyze securitized products in order to make timely and educated trading/investment decisions Developers are responsible for all aspects of the project life-cycle including requirements gathering, estimates, planning, design, development, tracking, testing, release, and proper handover to the support team. Candidates should have an ability to deliver on tight deadlines in an agile development life-cycle, while maintaining focus on the quality of the solutions by means of unit, regression, system and integration testing. Technologies used include Flex, HTML, Blaze-DS, Spring, Oracle, Hibernate, Coherence, TIBCO & Team City. Person Requirements Basic Qualifications: Bachelors Degree or equivalent 2+ years in Java & Flex development (JDBC, Multi-threading, Messaging, possibly Blaze-DS) 2+ years with Adobe Flex, HTML, Java Script This is a full-time role and at this time the bank can only transfer visas that have at least 3.5 years remaining on them.
