Major investment bank in Dallas is looking for an expert core java developer to join their credit IT team. This team works closely with the Credit Modeling & Quantitative analytics team and leverages cutting edge caching and grid computing technologies in order to meet the reliable, high performance and accurate pricing, risk, pnl and scenario requirements of the trading businesses. This is a great opportunity for a java expert to join an elite group of developers and at the same time learn about various financial products within the banking world. To qualify for this elite role: * Bachelors Degree or equivalent * 3+ years Java programming experience in a Unix/Linux/Windows environment * 3+ years core C++ programming experience (nice to have) * Candidate must be a good problem solver and be able to have a strong analytical approach * Pro-active, thorough, well-organised and energetic. * Excellent problem solving skills with a commitment for thorough root cause analysis This team is looking for someone who can work independently and is eager to learn about new business lines and willing to work with new technologies.
