Java Expert Developer (Edison Platform) (m/f/d)

MY DUTIES:

-Ensure high performance of the platform as it scales to a cloud enterprise solution
-Wisely enforce parallelization as needed
-Backend development of the EDISON platform
-Improve the code quality with smart and sustainable automated testing strategies
-Participate in technical decision makings
-Proactively collaborate with a team comprising of informatics experts, software engineers and life science experts

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

-At least M.Sc in Computer Science or similar discipline
-Substantiated professional Microservice / SpringCloud software development expertise
-Extensive experience in test-driven software development
-In-depth knowledge of SpringBoot (including SpringBatch & SpringBoot Autoscaler)
-Performance monitoring experience
-Strong working knowledge of best coding practices (TDD/BDD, pair-programming)
-Experience with continuous integration/delivery ecosystems (Jira, BitBucket, Jenkins)
-Strong analytical skills combined with conceptual thinking and structured working style
-Fluent in English
