Java Engineer (JEE, Maven, Financial Knowledge)

For one of our major clients from the financial sector we are looking for an experienced Java Engineer for a 6 months contract in Zurich.

TASKS

- Development of software models via Enterprise Architect
- Development of an API specific component
- Review of source code
- Release management within the platform
- Create reporting platform for project management/Project Board

PROFILE

- 3-5 years of experience in development with Java EE
- Deep knowledge in JBoss Application Server
- Deep expertise in Maven, Jenkins, Jacoco, Sonar and Subversion
- Major experience in Junit framework
- Experience with "Enterprise Architect" or other UML tools
- Good knowledge about web development, Client Server technology and database (Oracle)
- Very good knowledge of SOA (service-oriented architecture)
- Familiar with common software development process of an Enterprise Application
- Strong knowledge of the financial industry in particular in indexes and indices would be a strong plus
- Fluent in both English and German
