€450 - €500 per day
6 - 12 month contract
As a senior Software Engineer with excellent Java development skills and experience in software design you will work in the Transport Systems product line team within the E&P department.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
You will play an active role in the development of Network Management Applications:
Contribute to guarantee the technical quality of the project
Develop code that adheres to established standard and coding style
Propose and implement timely and cost-effective solutions
Take ownership of some subsystems and components within the overall architecture
EXPECTED RESULTS
Work as a team member in an agile software development environment.
Apply your expertise as Java engineer to ensure quick integration in the team by contributing to the ongoing new product development
Deliver the qualitative Java software components within the project timeframe
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED
Master's degree in Engineering (Computer Sciences or Telecommunication) with minimal 1 year of relevant experience in Telecom
Excellent knowledge of JAVA with at least 3 years' experience
Excellent Object Oriented Analysis
Passion for Linux
Good knowledge of various open source Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, Maven, Junit, ...
Good knowledge of concurrency and Multithreading in the JVM
Experience on Fault Management and monitoring systems is a plus.
Experience with HTML, XML, Client Server systems, SNMP, relational databases are strong assets.
Awareness on the usability of graphical interfaces is an asset
Telecom experience is an advantage
Familiar with general telecommunication concepts
Strong communications skills
Conflict and problem solving skills focusing - result driven
Strong personal initiative to define and carry out work
Good analysing, problem solving and reporting skills
Able to prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks
Ability to work independently and at the same time function in a team
Attention to detail
