KEY SKILLS

- University degree in computer science or software engineering
- 5 years professional experience in the design, implementation, integration and testing of Website and Intranet applications using Java EE and Oracle databases
- 3 years professional experience in JSF/Facelets, JSP, Servlets and JPA/Hibernate
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Ajax, JavaScript, XML, XSLT and Windows
- Experience in formal documentation, preferably in an ISO 9000 certified project and service environment

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design, implement, maintain, test and deliver applications based on Java EE and partially using Oracle WebCenter Content following the full application development cycle
- Specify, customize, integrate and maintain Client Server based COTS tools and document the customisation and integration in the EUMETSAT environment
- Maintain, test and deliver PHP based applications
- Provide second level support for existing applications, systems and services
- Gather and document user and system requirements and constraints
- Document the tasks and deliverables according to EUMETSAT working practices
- Perform the related quality assurance, configuration and change management activities
- Contribute to project planning and reporting
