Introduction

Development & Engineering: The department D&E Applications develops integrates and qualifies functional modules and application packages in the area of water metrology (critical dimension and overlay) and wafer fab applications (performance control applications). All development activities need to be conducted with the constraints of specification, time and budget as demanded by market conditions.

Job Mission

The mission of a Java EE software developer is to develop JEE applications within the DE apps department. The Java EE software developer will work on the Optimizer applications.

Job Description

The job consists of following activities. Specifies, designs, implements software to realize wafer fab products, including mathematical models and algorithms as specified by the application team and system engineering. This can also include user interface. The interaction with application team, product architect and other stakeholders is key to success. Validates and tests implemented solutions in cooperation with application team and system engineering. Develops software following the clients software system design processes. The Java EE developer will use his in depth knowledge of the Java EE architecture and way of working in his daily work. The Java EE developer will be able to use and adapt frameworks like Maven/Jenkins and JPA to the need of the product being developed. Test driven development will be used during product creation. The product under development will be created in iterations using the Scrum way of working.

Education

MSc or PhD degree in Technical Computer Sciences or equivalent.

Experience

* At least 2 years relevant work experience as JAVA EE developer is a MUST. Experience with coding/programming. Additional skills: Mathematical/Statistical affinity. Knowledge of SCRUM is a PRE
