Java Devops Engineer (Dutch-Speaking, Websphere/Tomcat, Nolio/Docker

Java DevOps Engineer with skills in WebSphere/WAS, Tomcat, Oracle and UNIX Scripting sought by a large international Financial Services firm based in the Friesland province.

We require an experienced DevOps Engineer with a background in Java development and deployment to join a large DevOps group working within a Continuous Delivery Pipeline. The team are very much focused on continuous experimentation utilising new technology such as NoSQL, Cloud solutions and Open-source technology. The successful applicant will deploy changes and releases, configure and maintain WebSphere WAS and Tomcat implementations, automating deployments and refine user stories. This is an extremely exciting and varied role within an excellent team.

Requirements

- Java
- WAS (version 7.0 and above)
- Tomcat
- Unix, AIX, Linux, Shell, Oracle and Bash Scripting
- Continuous Integration tooling such as Nolio and Docker.
- Monitoring such as Nagios and Geneos
- ITIL

Experience with Spring, REST API, GIT/Stash, Test tooling like: Protractor, Subversion, Fitnesse, Selenium; WSDL, JAXB, Angular JS/Javascript and XHTML/HTML 5.0 are not essential but would assist with the application. This is an excellent opportunity on a huge global DevOps programme.
