Java Development with Search Technologies

For our public sector client in the Hague we are looking for the following profile:

Excellent technical experience within:

- Languages: Java (JDK 6+), SQL, CSS;
- XML-related technologies: JAXB 2.x, XSD, XSL;
- Web technologies: DHTML, JSP 2+, Servlets 2.4+, Ajax, Jackson/Jettison;
- Web services: JAX-WS and JAX-RS (Resteasy), good understanding of REST principles;
- Database Servers: DB2, MS SQL;
- Familiarity with Lucene, Elasticsearch;
- Building and CI tools: Maven 2/3, Jenkins;
- Frameworks: Spring Framework 3+, including Spring MVC; Hibernate 3+ and JPA;
- Server Technology: JBoss 6.x,Tomcat 6.x;
- Operating Systems: Unix/Linux (SLES 10), Bash and GNU/Linux command line
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written in English;
- Strong organisational skills to work under pressure and prioritise tasks based on business severity and impact

Knowledge and experience in the following technologies is of advantage:

- Knime - strongly advantageous;
- Javascript;
- Spnego/Kerberos;
- Hazelcast;
- MongoDB;
- JFlex, Antlr;
- Ant and Nexus;
- Fitness
