JAVA DEVELOPERS (SOLID J2EE SKILLS AND PREFERABLY ALSO SAP MI & SAP MAM EXPERIENCE) - DUTCH SPEAKER
Profile:
In the context of the Smart Meter program, our customer plans to adapt its existing applications. This job assignment includes modifications to the existing "mobile" applications (based on SAP MI 7.0 and SAP MAM) used to manage the field technicians. The assignment concerns programming new graphical user interfaces and application logic for the existing SAP MAM J2EE web application in order to implement the smart meter tasks to be performed.
Executing requests for maintenance or troubleshooting related to incident tickets can be part of the contract. Work orders are sent by the module specialists of the different functional domains (SAP MI & SAP MAM).
Expected technical knowledge:
- Very good knowledge of WEB STANDARDS AND SCRIPTING LANGUAGES (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery, JSP).
- Very good knowledge of the JAVA PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE AND THE MVC DESIGN PATTERN.
- Good knowledge of ECLIPSE AND JUNIT.
- Good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop concerning the DESIGN OF WEBSITE GRAPHIC ELEMENTS.
- Knowledge of the aforementioned modules SAP MI & SAP MAM IS AN IMPORTANT ASSET.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE AS A JAVA DEVELOPER.
- Experience in projects or maintenance tasks on complex systems.
- Experience in DESIGNING GUIS is a great asset.
- Experience in optimization of existing web pages (Javascript elimination).
Additional specificities:
- Communicates fluently in DUTCH and has a good knowledge of English.
- Great sense of responsibility.
- Ability to quickly acquire knowledge around processes and their implementation in SAP.
- Able to work in a larger team of developers, sharing the necessary information to the team and providing the necessary documentation.
- Experience with agile programming methodology is an asset.
