One of ACT's most established and high profile government department is looking to appoint a number of experienced JAVA DEVELOPERS to become an integral member of a multi disciplinary team in a rapidly changing project environment. You will be responsible for the design, programming and testing of complex business specifications; the successful candidates will make a positive contribution to team decision making on design issues and share knowledge with fellow team members.

To be successful you must be able to demonstrate the following:

- At least 5 years of solid Java/J2EE development experience;
- Proven development experience with the following; Java, J2EE, Struts, JSF, WebSphere, Hibernate, EJB, Spring, Portals, DB2;
- Experience within government agencies with be highly desirable BUT not essential;
- Strong communications and interpretation skills;
- Ability to work within a team and work autonomously.
