JAVA DEVELOPER - J2EE, EJB, XML, WEB SERVICES - DUBLIN SOUTH - DIALY RATE CONTRACT - SEPTEMBER START

My Client is a consultancy firm who is hiring Back End Java/J2EE software engineers to work in a multidisciplinary team developing a web applications. This will be initially a 6 month contract based in South Co. Dublin. Java, J2EE, EJB, experience with XML, Web Services, HTML & data transformation technique

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

5+ years' experience in Java engineering
Ability to specify, design, codify and communicate the technical design/
functional capability of the solution to key stakeholders
OO Java programming skills J2EE, EJB, experience with XML, Web
Services, HTML & data transformation techniques for data extraction/analysis
Frameworks: J2EE, Hibernate, JAX-WS
Linux (UNIX) Scripting skills including familiarity with command line utilities
Basic database knowledge and ability to construct SQL or JDBC queries
directly or via Java
Development environment: Eclipse

IDEAL BUT NOT ESSENTIAL:

Solaris experience
Experience with Javascript, ExtJS, JQuery, HTML5 and Javascript framework
Experience delivering Restful Web Services using JSON
Experience with open source software Apache, Tomcat, JBoss or Linux.
Previous experience working in an Agile or Lean development environment
