Our client is an international bank located in Zurich. The firm offers a very professional environment where you will have the chance to use your skills within an experienced team.

We are looking for three contractor/consultants/employees with either strong BACK END (DB) or UI SKILLS. This is a long-term contract opportunity for a 24 months+ assignment and could suit a former permanent employee.

TASKS

- Build of a new global and scalable platform to further improve client advisory and to ensure an efficient delivery to clients
- Participate in the integration of a new risk calculation engine
- Implementation of new portfolio monitoring and optimisation on individual client objectives
- Hands-on programming and development in JEE6 & JEE7 and Java8

REQUIREMENTS

- Several years of experience in a similar position
- Recent work experience in Banking and/or Financial Services
- Significant experience in OO-development with Java
- Very good skills in Dev-Tools like: Eclipse, JUnit, Maven, Git, UML, XML, JAX-RS, JSP, Java Servlets, JSF 2.1, NodeJS, Primefaces, EJB3, JNDI, Hibernate JPA, JDBC, JTA,
- Messaging via WebSphere MQ, JMS
- Experience with Application Server and Weblogic and JBOSS
- Very strong communication skills
- Client and quality oriented
- Proactive, resilient and reliable personality
- Fluency in German & English (written & spoken)

The assignment duration is planned for 24 MONTHS+

Start-date is ASAP.
