Java Developer with DB2 & Cobol
6 month contract
Dublin City Centre
A multinational banking organisation currently require the expertise of an experienced Java Developer with DB2 and Cobol experience.
The role calls for someone with a minimum of 4 years' experience in core Java, JavaEE and DB2 and Cobol.
You will be part of a global team with responsibility for complex and variable issues that affect teams and business functions worldwide. This is an exciting opportunity for any developer eager to utilise their skills and impact a global business in a tangible way.
Below are the technical expectations to complete this role:
* RDBMS - DB2 and Cobol
* Proficient in working on Back End technologies SQL and stored procedures/triggers etc. Substantial experience in Core Java and Java EE technologies.
* Experience in working on multiple technologies and medium to complex systems, well versed with design standards & framework
* Able to work in distributed teams across multiple time zones.
* Technologies required - Experience in DB2 with Cobol experience, Core Java, Java EE, Multithreading/Concurrency, WebService, Web Services, RESTful Development, JSP, Servlets, EJB, Ajax, XML, JavaScript, CSS, Datamodelling, MS SQL, Business Object
* Application Servers - Web Sphere
