Java Developer - Video Platform, Agile, BDD, London - Contract

JAVA DEVELOPER - VIDEO PLATFORM, AGILE, BDD, LONDON - CONTRACT

We are looking for a highly competent and experienced Agile Java Developer to start ASAP with this highly regarded, global, media organisation in London. You will be working on new generation platforms for some of the nation's number one media web and mobile apps.

The successful Java Developer will have extensive experience in solid Agile environments (Scrum, KanBan, Lean, XP, Pair Programming, TDD/BDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, etc.). The Java Developer must be highly experienced in TDD and ideally also have a strong understanding of BDD. Candidates who enjoy what they do and often use their personal time to contribute to open source projects, blogs and attend meetups are the kind of developers we are looking for.

Additional skills that would make you more desirable would be demonstrable experience with other technologies such as AWS, Cloud Deployments, EC2, Ruby, Python, Perl, VOD, Online Video Publishing.
