BACKGROUND:
My client, an international bank based in Luxembourg is hiring a JAVA developers to join the team that is building a new messaging Middleware application for the interface between Target 2 Securities T2S and the bank.
Although the start date of this role is beginning January 2013, the client is recruiting now so that the selected candidate is ready for that schedule.
TASKS:
- To carry out the functional and technical design, implementation and unit testing.
- Coding of Solution;
- Perform application testing (Unit, integration and acceptance) of System.
SKILLS:
- Minimum 4 years experience in JAVA technologies:
- UML;
- Java standard;
- Oracle/SQL;
- Unix/Linux;
- XML;
- Messaging system/queuing;
- SWIFT.
Some appreciation of the financial sector, Target 2 Securities, investment banking, or an ICSD (International Centralised Securities Depositary or similar, eg. Crest, Euroclear, Clearstream, LCH Clearnet, etc) will be a big plus.
Language: English.
