Java Developer - Spring/SQL/Devops

JAVA DEVELOPER - SPRING/SQL/DEVOPS - long term contract opportunity for an experienced Developer to join a global financial services client.

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- Extensive JAVA development - Java Spring highly desirable
- Strong SQL/relational database experience
- Test driven development with proven record in writing unit tests and end to end integration tests as well as ability to work in a scrum team
- Usage of Jenkins and Docker/Kubernetes in CI/CD pipeline
- Competent handling of messaging and stream processing architectures built on Kafka would be a plus
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken

YOUR TASKS:

- Developing data integration, processing and monitoring applications with micro-services use
- Ensuring performance and test of applications with regard to requirements as well as fulfilling compliance with CI/CD and automated testing and also build pipeline
- Preparing unit test for automated testing as well as reviewing codes
- Fixing bugs and issues in deployed applications
- Providing expert understanding of the Java application development stack and tools as well as understanding architectural issues for decisions and recommendations
