Java Developer: Sophisticated Trading System

One of the world's largest financial service providers is growing an internal team of elite developers. Currently the team is composed of 7 advanced full stack Java developers. The target of this project is a sophisticated electronic trading system built on Oracle and JEE on the server side and state-of-the-art web 2.0 (mostly Ext JS) on the front end. The project is experiencing massive growth both vertically and horizontally. Over the course of this year the applications will be expanding into new markets with new technologies. Right now the project and team is in desperate need of a Front End Developer. The candidate is expected to know the full product but will spend 2/3 of their time developing the front end. This is an elite team of Java Developers and is seeking someone that will be eager and willing to explore new technologies and solutions to complex business problem and eventually grow into the Tech Lead. Requirements: * Strong knowledge and experience with object oriented JavaScript and CSS is essential; Ext JS expertise is HIGHLY desirable; Experience with any other javascript toolkit (JQuery, Dojo ,YUI) will help if candidate lacks direct experience with Ext JS but preference will be given to candidates with direct Ext JS knowledge and experience. * Solid experience with core Java and/or C# technologies. Any knowledge and experience with database development (SQL, PL/SQL) is desirable but not required. * Good work ethics. Excellent communication skills. The candidate is expected to work closely with the business and other members of the development and QA teams so good communication skill is essential. * Prior financial experience is desirable but not required.
