Java Developer - Secret Clearance Job

MID LEVEL STRONG JAVA DEVELOPER needed for a 12 months CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's FEDERAL CLIENT located in ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA.

Possession of or ability to obtain a [Secret Security Clearance] is required as a condition for employment.

TOP SKILLS

- Strong Verbal and written communications as this is external client facing need
- Strong understanding of Object Oriented (OOD) concepts
- THIS position needs SECRET CLEARANCE (US citizens) or ability to procure PUBLIC TRUST BACKGROUND SF85P (Green card holders)
- WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF .NET LANGUAGE OR ENVIRONMENTS

THE BIG PICTURE:

- Strong Programmer with deep understanding and demonstrable experience in any one Structured language like Java or .net who can Analyze functional, business applications and design specifications for functional activities

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Tests, debugs, and refines the computer software to produce the required product.
- Formulates architectural design, functional specification, interfaces and documentation of hardware or software systems.
- Responsible for segments or phases of broader, more complex projects.
- Adheres to coding standards defined by technical management

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Eight (8) years of relevant work experience
- Strong knowledge and project experience in Java Technologies like J2EE, JSP, Servlets, JDBC, Struts, ant build tool, XSLT and XML
- Able to setup/build and deploy complex J2EE applications
- Experience with Database design including Stored Procedures, DML and DDL tasks
- Working knowledge of UNIX Shell Scripting and Java Web Services
- Experience in J2EE frameworks like Spring and Hibernate
