EXPERIENCE DEVELOPING IN SCALA

3 MONTHS +

- Solid Object Oriented skill in Java/J2EE (minimum 3+ years' experience)
- Experience developing in functional programming languages mainly Scala.
- Exposure to JavaScript Frameworks
- Any Scripting language: Unix Shell, MSDOS, Python, Perl

Solid experience working in an Agile environment

Our client requires a highly skilled Java developer.

You will ideally having experience in JAX-RS, SOAP Web Services, Drools (the JBoss rules engine), JBoss Application Platform, JEE6, JPA, EJB3, Bean Validation, JAXB, JSON message formats

Front End JavaScript skills would be advantages. If the necessary skills are not available, you should be willing to learn on the job and acquire the necessary skills.

SCALA EXPERIENCE

Appropriate tertiary qualifications in an engineering, computer science or related discipline
must have excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with all levels of staff and management
Commercial experience in developing large scale web applications in a multi platform environment
Experience in designing and implementing solutions to complex business requirements
