Java Developer - Redis, REST, Agile, TDD/BDD - Contract - London

JAVA DEVELOPER - REDIS, REST, AGILE, TDD/BDD - CONTRACT - LONDON

We are looking for a strong Agile Java Developer to join this Agile team based in central London working on large scale, global customer facing, high volume web project and highly available global infrastructure.

The successful Agile Java Developers will have extensive commercial experience writing RESTful APIs, working with Redis and high traffic dynamic website caching in solid Agile environments (Scrum, KanBan, Lean, XP, Pair Programming, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment) following strict TDD and/or BDD.

This would be a great opportunity for an established Agile Java Developer (REST, Redis, Caching, High Availability) to join other likeminded Agile professionals in a highly experienced team, working on a global consumer facing project.

KEY SKILLS:

- Java, Redis, REST API's
- Large scale, customer facing, high traffic, web project experience
- High Availability
- Dynamic website caching (Varnish experience would be a bonus)
- TDD, BDD (Cucumber, JUnit, Selenium)
- Agile (Scrum, KanBan, Lean, XP, Pair Programming)
- Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, understanding of DevOps culture
