Technical profile requirements

6 years or more professional experience with the development of Java and Java EE-based applications

Strong knowledge of OO design

Technical expertise that covers the full software stack (Front End to Back End)

We don't expect you to know everything. You should however be able to easily pick up new concepts and technologies.

Non-Technical profile requirements

You will be working in a challenging environment. Next to understanding the scientific context, you will also need get yourself acquainted with an entire range of state-of-the-art technologies. Hence, we are looking for a tech-savvy Java developer that is eager to learn.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision

Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills

Methodology/Certification requirements

Master and/or Bachelor Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Chemistry or Bioinformatics OR equivalent through experience. Advanced course work in technical systems plus continued education in technical disciplines is preferred

Previous work experience in a scientific context is a definite plus.
