Skills and experience:

- Core Java: Java EE 1.5/1.6 (J2EE), Java Database Connectivity (JDBC), Javascript;
- ORM Frameworks: Hibernate, Java Persistence API (JPA);
- Database: SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle 10/11, SQL Developer;
- Web Application Development Frameworks: Spring, Spring security, Google Web Toolkit (GWT);
- Web services technologies: XML, SOAP, WSDL, ANT;
- Application Servers: Apache Tomcat (5.5/6.0);
- Application IDE Tools: Eclipse;
- Testing Tools: JUnit, FindBugs, Checkstyle;
- Archiving tool: SVN, Tortoise SVN;
- Other: jPDFWriter, UML, Linux, Perl.
- Bachelor degree or Master Degree in Computer Science;
- A minimum of 2 years of experience within an IT development Team;
- Ability to work quickly and accurately, on a team or individual basis;
- An excellent analytical and communication skills are required;
- Attentive to details and process oriented;
- Demonstrates flexibility in handling work;
- Shares knowledge;

Description of work:

- Participate in the development and implementation of WUIs utilizing GWT technology;
- Participate in the development and implementation of Web services;
- Participate in the development and implementation of PL/SQL packages;
- Assist in post-implementation support and system enhancements;
- Ensure that code adheres to strict standards for accessibility, security, object-oriented practices and performance;
- Write and conducts unit and integration tests;
- Participate in requirements, architecture, and design meetings.;
- Develop design and technical specifications;
- Ensure applications are delivered according to project timelines.
