A fast-growing Financial Company which develops Trading Platforms is seeking an established Java Developer to join their impressive connectivity team working with razor-sharp technologies!

You will be working on Ultra Low-Latency applications on Greenfield projects to build a hosted financial services connectivity hub. Therefore you should hold an excellent understanding of back-end system design including message buses, caching, clustering, replication and failover.

You must hold very strong Core Java skills for this challenging position - concurrency, sockets, and data structures.

The team prides itself on a commitment to agile methodologies, particularly TDD. If you do not have experience working with these practices then you should show a knowledge and real enthusiasm for working in this way.

This is a position for a Developer with a several years of commercial experience, which should have provided you with an excellent core Java knowledge.

You should hold a 1st Class/2:1 Degree from a top-tier University.

Experience within financial markets and low level applications will be advantageous to your application - particularly if you have worked with FIX. However, other applicants keen to gain exposure to this area will also be considered!
