Java Developer - Leidsdchendam Netherlands - 12 Months+ Contract

One of my blue chip clients in Leidschendam (nr the Hague) in the Netherlands are looking for a Java Developer for 12 months+ contract (the full details are below)

ROLE - IT SYSTEMS DEVELOPER

LOCATION - LEIDESCHENDAM

DURATION - 12 MONTHS

KEY ACTIVITIES ARE: application design, code, test and document. Incidentally also production development support and maintenance also feature.

KEY PRIORITIES ARE: high quality deliverables and on-time delivery. The individual needs to be able to communicate in English and Dutch to a high standard (both written and oral). He or she will work as part of a team but will be expected to be able to work without constant supervision. Prioritized list of technical experience required: Java SE 6/Java EE 5, EJB 3.0, JSF, Seam, Hibernate, JUnit, SQL/Oracle, HSQLDB, JBoss, WSDL, Eclipse, Subversion, Sonar, Jenkins, Maven. Development certifications like Sun/oracle programmer or web component developer are an advantage.

Any Javascript, AngularJS, Jquery, CSS3 and HTML5 skills are welcomed !

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Development: Analysis, design and sizing of assigned development tasks.

Test-driven coding according department standards.

Application management: production support, including bug fixing. Maintain Functional and Technical Application Reference Manuals.

Support company processes, like: Software Configuration Manuals, Disaster Recovery, Maintain Repository of Systems etc.

Quality management: Participate in code review sessions. Execution of System and Integration testing.

REQUIREMENTS:

Experienced Java application development professional. Problem solver and team-player, flexible, enthusiastic and communicative approach. Verbal and writing in Dutch and English. Accurate and quality oriented. A strong drive to deliver.
