SENIOR JAVA/J2EE SOFTWARE DEVELOPER - JSF/JSP & JAVASCRIPT/JQUERY - CONTRACT - GALWAY, IRELAND
You will be joining an highly EXPERIENCED TEAM who are currently seeking a contractor with extensive SENIOR JAVA development experience to join their highly innovative team of developers who work on NEW PATENTED CONCEPTS using the latest Java technology stack. All development is delivered via AGILE SCRUM METHODOLOGY with full team participation involved with planning and shared collective ownership.
You will ideally have good analysis, problem-solving and documentation skills coupled with strong motivation for working in a highly customer focused environment.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and development using JSF/JSP/Java and Javascript/jquery.
Design and development of interfaces to database.
Help ensure that all business, customer and IT delivery elements are taken into account from a requirements perspective eg user centered design, process dependencies etc.
. Excellent Java technology stack skills are a necessity, ideally with Oracle 10/11g or other database interaction experience
. Enterprise software development experience is highly desirable.
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or similar.
Minimum of 6 YEARS of development experience in a web based environment.
Strong J2EE AND JSP skills highly desirable.
Interface development using JQUERY AND JAVASCRIPT.
Database interaction using SPRING HIBERNATE AND/OR JDBC.
Development Methodologies - Agile a preference.
Good customer facing skills - strong customer focus necessary for this role.
