SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER needed for a CONTRACT TO HIRE opportunity with Yoh's client located in San Francisco, CA.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Work as part of a dynamic team throughout the software development life cycle
- Collaborate with designers and analysts to implement enhancements or new applications
- Develop code to meet story acceptance criteria
- Conduct design and code review to ensure compliance with standards
- Estimate level of effort to develop code to meet acceptance criteria
- Ensure adherence to continuous improvement practices as required to meet quality/time to market imperatives
- Maintain records to document program development and revisions
- Provide 3rd level support of software solution as needed
- Share best practices and improve processes within and across sprint teams, and mentor more junior developers
- Converts specifications about business problems into programming instructions.
- Conducts analysis of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of application systems.
- Designs and codes programs; creates test transactions and runs tests; revises as necessary.
- Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems, including encoding, testing, debugging and installing for a large-scale system.
- Monitors operating efficiency of existing application systems

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related degree
- At least eight (8) - ten (10) years of hands-on Java/J2EE development experience
- At least two (2) years of hands-on experience building new web services utilizing RESTful or SOAP and XML or JSON
- At least two (2) years of hands-on experience building web client applications leveraging HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Async interaction patterns
- At least five (5) years of RDBMS experience (ie: Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)
- Experience writing test cases utilizing JUnit
- Java certified programmer or developer and/or related certifications
- Experience with Spring, SpringMVC, Webflow, Ajax, SQL, OOD, API design, Eclipse, Weblogic, Tomcat and/or JMS
- Experience with jQuery, Angular.js, or client development with a similar JavaScript framework
- Experience with Cloud based development
- Experience with Ant, Maven, Hudson or other continuous integration tools
- Experience as a lead developer and/or solutions architect
- Experience leading small teams
- Agile/Scrum development experience
- Excellent communication skills
