Java Developer - JEE - Banking - Zürich

Java Developer - JEE wanted for our client, an international bank based in Zurich.

YOUR TASKS:

- Working with solution architects and business analysts on the design of new functionalities
- Implementing new features according to design
- Making sure that the code is errors free
- Driving the change of development process towards market standards
- Working with other developers across the department on best practices

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- At least 5 years experience of Java development
- Strong Knowledge of Java EE in multi-tier architecture and multi-threaded environments in general and particularly on Java EE Web Tier (JSF) and Web Services area (Soap as well as REST/RESTFul web services)
- Good knowledge of Spring framework, Maven, SVN and TeamCity as well as experience in working with Oracle DBs
- A proven track record of using object-oriented programming techniques with an applied understanding of the full software development life cycle
- Experience in working on Unix environment, WebLogic Servers and Enterprise Architect would be a plus
