Responsibilities:

-Liaising with the rest of the team to implement and maintain new development services to a large number of users.
-To assist with improving the standard of technical delivery and competencies within the technical teams
-To provide technical consultancy and advice to the technical and management teams as required
-Creating robust, efficient applications

Key Skills:

At least 4 Years commercial experience using Java

Experience with Relational Databases

Linux/Unix

Object Orientated

Spring

Hibernate

Good design skills

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

Strong organisational skills

Good team player, proactive, self motivated and able to work on own initiative

Desirable:

Experience with other programming languages i.e. PHP, Perl, Python

MySQL
