Java Developer (Java/Javascript/Oracle)

The contract is with a Consultancy organization in Brussels for long term as Java/Javascript developer.  Assignment at a large European site:

DESCRIPTIONOFTASKS

This expert resource will participate in the following task assignments:

DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE COMPASS SYSTEM, MAINLY UPON JEE TECHNOLOGY AND ORACLE SUITE.

JavaScript expertise for the development of rich user interfaces

JEE expertise for development, testing and deployment of the application

Assistance with the implementation of the technical architecture

Integration of development tools: maven, eclipse, IBM's RTC

ELABORATION OF THE TECHNICAL ARCHITECTURE FOR THE PROJECT, TAKING INTO ACCOUNT THE EXISTING INFRASTRUCTURE AT THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION AND ITS EVOLUTION.

Provide the technical documentation (in English) for platform and system administrators.

Production of software architecture documents

SKILLS.

EXPERTISE IN JAVA/JAVASCRIPT PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE 

Multiple years' work experience with JAVA Technologies for the development of Web based application or Web Portal.

Multiple years' work experience with JEE Application Server such as Tomcat, Jetty, JBoss and WebLogic. 

Proven experience with Javascript, AngularJS, jQuery, XML and JSON manipulation. Experience with data visualization/graphic libraries as d3js is an asset. 

Proven experience with Servlet API 3.0, Hibernate, JPA, SQL. Spring is an asset.

Experience in data visualization/dashboard is an asset.

Effective work experience in client-side development of complex applications involving: JS dependency management, JSON and client side patterns.

Proven experience with agile methodology.
