JAVA DEVELOPER/JAVA ENGINEER/JAVA PROGRAMMER

My client, a large financial organisation is looking for a number of Java (Back End) developers/Java engineers. You will have strong skills in Java software development and experience in design and development of complex, secure and performance applications

As part of a global team you will be based out of Amsterdam and working on one of the most high profile programmes of work currently within the EU.

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

- 5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in creating highly scalable mission-critical applications. 
- Excellent knowledge of Java including the Spring framework
- Experience with test driven development & test automation
- Real world OO design experience and knowledge of design patterns
- Experience with at least one modern Scripting language
- Experience in Agile/scrum or scrum master
- You are familiar with continuous Integration tools like: GIT, Jenkins, Sonar, Maven, Nexus and are able to configure these tools.
- You have knowledge of XML, JSON, REST, web-services

PERSONAL SKILLS:

- English speaking - Dutch would be a nice to have
- Good social and communication skills
