Our client a Global Manufacturing Organisation are looking for a strong Java and J2EE Developer to join team that develops and supports a range of IT systems and bespoke applications.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supporting and developing the internal customer service portal
- Developing and supporting interfaces and ancillary programmes
- Support the SQL database systems as part of a team
- Providing support for specific business applications using Java and other OO technologies
- Working on future projects using new technology
- Developing and programming applications as required for the organisation
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Strong experience of Java and J2EE programming
- Knowledge of IBM WebSphere and IBM iSeries Server
- Awareness of .net programming and other similar OO programming
- Experience of SQL Server
- Experience of Microsoft operating systems including Windows Server 2012
- Knowledge of up to date knowledge of new technologies
THE LOCATION IS EASILY COMMUTABLE FROM CENTRAL LONDON WITH A DIRECT TRAIN.
