Job Title: Java Agile Senior Developer
Relevant Experience: 48-72 months
Location: Dublin, Republic of Ireland
Requirement date & day rate: Immediate, €467.50
Key Responsibilities:
Software Engineering in either or both SDLC and/or Agile Environment (Scrum) delivering high-quality coded solutions in required technology families, platforms, functional and industry domains using prescribed tools, frameworks and technologies
Establish & develop strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
Deliver tailored results leveraging your technical competency and industry knowledge.
Proactively identify and assist in the timely resolution of issues and defects.
Qualifications:
Degree educated or higher in a relevant academic subject
Any industry recognised certifications and/or memberships are also desirable.
Key Competencies and Experience
Experience of working on both New-build and Maintenance programs in Banking or similar industries.
Strong experience working with Scrum on Agile developments.
Familiarity with structured SDLC methodologies.
Experience in development practices including work estimation, testing and test automation, code review, code packaging.
Experience of ensuring adherence to Architectural Policies and Standards (Compliance).
Solid communication and team player skills with ability to actively participate in solution design and problem solving.
Ability to work in an Agile team environment - actively participating in story planning and detailed daily stand-ups.
Effectiveness in listening and understanding business objectives and translating this knowledge into coded solutions.
Be able to understand and work with industry-standard architecture and design artifacts, models and notations.
Produce meaningful and appropriate documentation.
